Lightweight bout:  Diego Sanchez d.  Clay Guida via split decision (28-29,29-27,29-28). Great fight. Intense, competitive, entertaining, bloody, and dramatic. One of the best this year if not my favorite so far. After Round 1, how Clay wasn't picking his teeth up off the canvas while Diego was on the way home is beyond me. I was not much of a Guida fan before this fight, but this guy is unreal. There was about 3 instances in the first round where any normal human being would have been KO'd and on their way to the hospital... but Guida is not normal. Even after the fight he could not stop jumping up and down.

Welterweight Finale bout:  James Wilks d. DaMarques Johnson via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:54 of round 1. This fight had me out of my seat cheering alone in my room. Wilks is a killer he went for the submision in every position he was in. He outclassed DaMarques at every turn.

Welterweight bout:  Chris Lytle d.  Kevin Burns via unanimous decision (29-28,29-28,29-28). Lytle is worthless. All he does is stand up and he can't even do that correctly. If he set up any type of offensive gameplan, or even a combo, that fight would have ended with him getting a KO in the second, but all he did was throw a haymaker and then wait for the guy to hit back. Worthless.

Lightweight Finale bout:  Ross Pearson d. Andre Winner via unanimous decision (29-28,29-28,29-28). Close fight.

Lightweight bout:  Joe Stevenson d.  Nate Diaz via unanimous decision (29-28,29-28,29-28). Really good first fight. Anyone else get the sense that these type of events always have more intensity and energy in them when it's a bunch of dudes fighting for a contract? Anyways, I was impressed with Stevenson. I always had the hunch that he was a McDojo's black belt in BJJ because he only went to the ground if he had the guillotine. However, he out grappled Nate and that's impressive. I think Stevenson might make a comeback, he's on a good team now and judging by tonight he is changing up his game a little bit. And the problem with Nate is his standup isn't as good as his brother and he's so slight and skinny he's more easy to take down than his brother.

Brock Lesnar's facial hair was disturbing. Was he trying to look like a second rate Bond Villain Henchman?

Final Thoughts: Dana must be pissed his PPV fighters don't bring these kind of fights. This entire card was very good.

I find it funny how Dana White trashes Kimbo Slice as not a real fighter, bad for MMA, and not good enough to win TUF. Yet, the promo package for TUF 10 is all about Kimbo. Just wait, when UFC finally sign Fedor he'll be referring to him as the best Heavyweight in the world despite saying he's a farce for so long.
